7:00-9:00 AM: Mysore (Ashtanga Fundamental, Primary and Secondary Series) ~ TRY IT FOR FREE THROUGH FEBRUARY!
11:15-12:30 PM: All Level Flow
Mysore is a self guided, quiet practice. This format is how Ashtanga Yoga is traditionally taught in Mysore, India. A teacher is present to assist with
postures and answer any questions. This format is an excellent way to deepen your practice and experience the meditative stillness found in a Mysore
class. The only sounds you will hear are breath, movement and whispering from teacher to student as needed. Practice sheets with the Ashtanga
Primary Series are provided for those who need them. Begin your practice anytime after 7:00 AM and end by 9:00 AM.
Saturday:
9:00-10:15 AM: Classic Postures- Level 1
10:30-11:45 PM: Powerful Yoga Flow - Level 2
12:00-1:30 PM: Ashtanga Led Primary Series- Level 2
1:45-3:00 PM: Ashtanga Fundamentals for Beginners- Level 1 and up ~ Format change 2/3, Special Class: Yoga For Heart Health
The Yoga Therapy Program will run for six weeks beginning 2/6/10. Saturdays from 3:30-5:30.
2/13: 1:45-3:00 YOGA for HEART HEALTH in place of Ashtanga Fundamentals. Regular Class Fees Apply.
Saturday's are changing! In order to address the needs of the students, the 10:30 AM class will be Classic Postures Level 1-2 as of
March 1st. The Ashtanga Fundamental class will be replaced with Meditation and Yin, a four week course in Insight Meditation and Yin
Yoga.
Sunday:
10:00-11:15: Classic Postures with Hip Openers- All Levels
11:15-11:45: Restorative/Gentle Yoga ~Combined with previous class as of 1/10/10. See Below
Sunday Workshop 2/7: 2:00-4:00 ~ Partner Yoga w/ Danae Robinett, 25.00 per couple.
As of 1/10/10 the Restorative Postures will be combined with the 10:00 Hip Opener Class.
The new combined class will be as follows:
10:00-11:15: Classic Postures w/ a focus on hip openers and strengtheners. All Levels
11:15-11:45: Stress Relieving Restorative Postures with Props, Pranayama (Breathing Exercises) and Meditation
The restorative portion of the class is optional. Students may attend just the 10:00-11:15 Asana (Posture) class if desired.
Students with unlimited class packages may attend the restorative portion only if they desire.
